Troup Group LLC. Provides $10,000 Donation to Alabama PALS /Chambers Beatification Initiative




At Monday’s Chambers County Commission Meeting, the Chambers Troup Group LLC donated $10,000  which the commission will use for their beatification Clean Chambers County initiative. 


The funding from Chambers, Troup LLC. will go to the collaborative initiative of Alabama PALS and the Chambers Commission which goes to a variety of school projects. 



Tana Cannon, principal of Bob Harding Shawmut Elementary was in attendance and voiced her appreciation to Chambers, Troup LLC. for their generous donation.

OPELIKA RECEIVES $2 MILLION SEEDS GRANT TO BOOST ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Cusseta Residents Voice Concers Over Potential Quarry

  LaFayette- On Monday, the Chambers County Commission held a regularly scheduled called meeting inside the courtroom as they heard from Cusseta citizens voiced concerns over a potential Quarry that could come into their community.  Cusseta resident Suzanne Montgomery spoke to the commissioners, and a large group of other citizens listened to her and their concerns.  Afterwards, Cusseta resident and buisness owner Jack Robertson spoke to the commission on the negative impact the Quarry could have on the economy for the Cusseta community.  The Chambers Ledger will continue to follow up on this developing story.
